Together

Valentine's Day is fast approaching.  Are you doing anything special on this day?  Do you like to decorate your home, make gifts for others, bake cookies with the kids for school parties?  Do you have a special tradition on Valentine's Day?
Whatever it is that you do why not document it.  We challenged out design team to create some valentine's themed projects and today Monique shares her talents with us.

Hello Imaginisce fans! It's Monique today sharing a Valentine's Day layout created with the fun and versatile Par-r-rty Me Hearty collection.

Can you believe it's almost Valentine's Day? I'm still working on my December Daily and all of a sudden February is upon us! Time flies and thus all the more reason to scrap those treasured memories. The Par-r-rty Me Hearty collection is perfect for that. My last layout featured my 11 year old son and this time I'm using the collection to scrap this photo of my 19 year old daughter and her beau. You almost can't tell it's the same collection, right?

For the background I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the "Half Hearted" cut file from The Cut Shoppe and placed it on top of the "Sirens Song" paper. I filled a few of the heart halves with little pieces of a few of the other papers from this collection. Next I cut two tags from the Shell-A-Brate paper. You'll notice that on the a-side of the paper the tags have designs and text, but on the b-side you'll find the same tags but without the text and those are the ones I used for my page:

I placed the tags behind the photo and on the left side of the photo I added a hand cut heart.

Next came the title, which I also cut with my Silhouette Cameo and last but not least I added the beautiful die-cut with the flowers.

I really love the result even if this layout didn't need a whole lot of paper and die-cuts.

Supplies:
Imaginisce: patterned paper, die-cuts (Par-r-rty Me Hearty). American Crafts: cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by our blog today and I can't wait to see what you'll create with this collection! Have a great day!
